About Mary
Hi, I’m Mary — a lifelong artist, mother of five, tattoo artist, and body piercer. I’ve been tattooing since 1991 and professionally body piercing since 2010.
My journey in the tattoo industry began in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where I opened my first tattoo shop, Skin and Bones Tattoo. I spent much of the early part of my career in Hawaii, where I gained valuable experience and developed a deep appreciation for Polynesian tattooing.

In 2010, I opened Owego Tattoo Co. in Owego, New York. More recently, I relocated to Washington, Pennsylvania, where I opened Mary’s on Main in 2025.
Over the years, I’ve been licensed in tattooing and body piercing in Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington State. In addition to tattooing and piercing, I’ve worked as a professional artist in many creative fields, including sign making, mixed media collage, wire-wrapped gemstone jewelry, card making, and more.
Art has always been at the center of my life, and I’m grateful to continue sharing that passion with every client who walks through the door.
